Cristiano Ronaldo is a living legend of football.
He was born on 5th February 1985 in Funchal, Madeira ( Portugal ). Cristiano Ronaldo showed his passion for football very early and when he was 8 he started to play footbal by entering in a small club. His professional career went on developing substantially since then.
He entered the “Sporting Lisboa”, a club in which he launched himself in the best football category of Portugal in 2001, and, little by little he managed to create his reputation in this industry. Indeed, in just two years, in the summer of 2003, he managed to make the leap to the Premier League through a transfer to none other than the mighty Manchester United in which his coach Sir Alex Ferguson gave him the famous number 7 shirt that belonged, until then, to David Beckham. His potential kept on growing.
In 2007, he became the highest paid player in the world and in 2009, after winning his first Golden Ball (2008), he signed a contract with Real Madrid, which payed 96 millions to Manchester United. It became the most expensive football signing at that period.
Nowadays, he is considered as one of the best football players in the world, and one of the most acclaimed sportsmen by the medias. This football player promoted many advertising campaings for a lot of companies. Among his high number of awards, both, individual and team ones, he achieved three Gold Balls in 2008, 2013 and 2014, which established him as one of the best soccer players of the history.
