Maria Jesús Pagés Madrigal, artistically known as María Pagés, was born in the Triana district of Seville, in the year 1963. Today, is a dancer and choreographer of race paya recognized internationally.
She is internationally recognized for her personnel aesthetic concept of flamenco. Understands art as unlimited and has won a place in the global dance scene.
Driven from an early age by her dance teacher Matilde Coral and Manolo Marin, the girl of only 14 years does excel in the art of Spanish Dance, later becomes a professional dancer and founded the company "María Pagés" in 1990 .
Over the years, she becomes an internationally renowned flamenco choreographer and chosen to be part of film companies, by the year 1999, established a company in the Boulevard Theatre.
In 2002 all her good performances are rewarded at the time of successfully completing the "National Dance Award" from Spain in the category of creation, a title that never before has a flamenco dancer had before.
Her creations have been happening over the years all with great success and welcomed by the public, so she has become one of the most requested artists on stage flamingos.
