This Seviilian dancer who was born in 1958, has managed to strip the Flamenco of everything accessory. Her dancing is a sensation for its strength and temperament.
Born in the cradle of an artistic family, her father is the dancer Jose Carrasco "El Sordo” 'and her mother is related to The Camborios, being her training conducted by self-teaching.
Despite initial opposition from her parents, her debut at age eleven in the now defunct Tablao The Garage in Seville is remarkable. At 13, she toured throughout Europe two years with the cast of dancer Curro Velez.
In Madrid starts dancing as a soloist with "The Canasteros". Among other shows, she participated in "Gitano" with Camarón de la Isla and Lebrijano, and "Flamenco puro" with Fernanda de Utrera and Farruco. During the Biennial of Flamenco Art in Seville in 1992 she starred in "... And Seville" directed by José Luis Ortiz Nuevo.
Three years later she participates in the movie “Flamenco” by Carlos Saura, accompanied by the singing of José Merce. Theatrical productions of her own company include "La Diosa", "Así Baila Sevilla” and "Jondo Adonai".
She gets the recognition of the National Dance Prize in 2007.
