Radio Macandé originally formed two young people from La Linea de La Concepcion (Cadiz). Juan Medina (Juanillo) composer-vocalist in addition to playing Spanish guitar and Juan Luis Mendoza (Pipi) to choirs, guitar and also composition are going to be one of the new and firm promises of Spanish music.
They have known since childhood and despite their youth have been playing together for more than 10 years, beginning marked by flamenco, where Pipi accompanied the voice of Juanillo with the guitar.
They toured all of Andalusia touching where they were called to later make the jump to other places of the peninsula. In this way they began to impregnate themselves with other music and styles, while it was forging what would eventually become the musical style with which they would record their first album in 2002, Radio Macandé.
After more than 35,000 albums sold from their first self-titled album, Mi niña morena (2004) is the second album.
In 2009 and after Buena Buena (2007), they released their fourth album, Soy Callejero, with La Lola.
From the Buena Onda album, Raule is the singer replacing Juan Medina.
