Maria Rosa Garcia Garcia was born in San Fernando, Cadiz, January 15, 1978.
She is artistically known as Nina Pastori. With just twelve years, the singer José Monge Cruz Camarón presented her at the Teatro de Cadiz Andalusia and he was so fascinated that in the middle of a concert he asked her to act with him. In her beginnings she was supported by Camarón de la Isla but she later moved to Madrid and signed with Sony Music label which has meant a boost to her career.
At seventeen she was offered the opportunity to record her first album. While in Madrid, she was discovered by Alejandro Sanz and Paco Ortega who gave great impetus to her career.niña Pastori
Her latest album "La Orilla De Mi Pelo" is considered one of the most positive, happy and hopeful albums. Her matured songs and full of musical richness, escape from styles that merge into a whole marked by the inspiration, strength and openness.
She is the continuation of a career that began in 1995 with the album between two ports and that in these 16 years has marked the evolution of new flamenco since her debut with the song “Tu ME Camelas” which became an unprecedented success and marked a before and after in the Spanish music that will shake the world of flamenco to maintain and update the essence of this music. Then came other important albums as you light (1998), Cañaílla (2000), Mary (2002), No hay quinto malo (2004), borrowed Jewels (2006), Waiting to see (2009) ... All these albums have been gold or platinum selling over two million copies and Niña Pastori placing in the top of the Spanish scene.
Throughout the entire career she has done collaborations with other artists, for example, Joseph French, Vicente Amigo ... And tributes to Camarón discs, Joaquin Sabina…
