David Campoy

David Campoy was born in 1978 in the city of Barcelona. At just 16 years started in the world of the night as resident DJ in a small club in Barcelona. Also from that time he began to try to produce his first tracks. A long time working locally as a DJ and producing tracks for his sets only until in 2000 he published his first album and began touring throughout Spain running his sets to the dance floor.

This has always been the most important to David, making everyone enjoy with his music and his sessions. He is a DJ and producer who does not like to be labeled with a unique personal style. David has combined during his residencies in different clubs with his performances throughout the provinces of Spain.

Universal Music, Black and White, Sony, Stereo Productions, Hypnotic Music Paris, Clippers, Password or Metrouble USA, are just some of the long list of record companies that publish his songs. He is currently focused in his tasks of producer and remixer for the label We Love Asere.

He has been commissioned remixes by the likes of Juan Magan, Pitbull, El Cata, Don Omar, Soraya, Fulanito, Victor Magan Barbara Muñoz an so, remixing important songs like Bailando por El Mundo, Taboo or Verano Azul.

Songs like EL VIAJANTE or BEFORE, keep being played nowadays radios and clubs around the world. His track Maliciosa has been a great success in the dance floors of Spain, Latin America and Eastern Europe. And with the song Love 4 Pontona, one of his biggest hits, has reached number 1 in the Latin American Charts and the TOP20 in Spain. His EP with French vocalist named Diamond Will “Do You Wanna Rock?” and subsequent remixes, came directly from the day of its publication to iTunes and Beatport TOP, like his remix of Let It Go of Victor Magan and Obek, which reached the Top 10 in Spain. His new production Loving You, performed by the American star Lumidee, has just been published and is already playing on the best radio stations and dance floors for the best DJs in Spain and USA. In the coming months we will see the progression of the entire album, which with its first single has reached the Top14 sales in Spain.

After dozens of productions and remixes on sale during the last years, in 2012 David has released his first LP called Hello World. A magnificent album that is receiving feedbacks from top international artists, and which features collaborations with musicians and vocalists from across Europe.

David also has developed his career as a radio DJ, several different radio shows on FM stations in Spain and Latin America and throughout the Internet for the entire planet. Currently his last FM radio show, David Campoy Overground, has been converted to iTunes podcast occupying the top of the TOP100 and a significant number of subscribers worldwide.
