Paula Velázquez was born in El Ferrol, Spain and at age of 13 she moved to Barcelona.
She speaks fluent Spanish, Galician, Catalan and English. She started as a model at 14 and three years later she debuted as a presenter at a youth TV show of Antena 3, moving later in 1993 to the show “1, 2, 3” presenting live “La Vuelta A La Fama”.
Among the TV shows she has worked in, there are “No te olvides el cepillo de dientes”, “El Rastrillo”, with “Gran Wyoming” and Bertín Osborne “La Gran Gala de los Premios TP”, “Que no decaiga”, “Sonrisas de España”, “Telemaratón”, “La noche de los magníficos”, “Mira quién viene esta noche” and “La parodia Nacional”, “El Gran Test”, “Por Ti”, “La Isla De Los Famosos”, “Aventura En Africa”, “Los Mas”, “Inocente”, the “Campanadas de Fin de Año 1998 y 1999”, “Miss Spain”, “TP Awards” (where she bécame finalist as best Presenter), “Únicas”, “Números 1”,“Galas de la Hispanidad” and the 3rd edition of “Gran Hermano”, although it was in “El Euromillón” where she was consacrated. The “Inocente” galas are also part of her curiculum. In her home town she has presented in TVG: “Luar”, “Galicia, Terra Única”, many “Gastronomic” Award Galas, “La Gala de Moda Gallega” and “Gala Xacobeo 2004”.
In her acting facet, she has participated in “Canguros”, “El Autógrafo” of the TV series “Desenlace”, “Divinos”, she has done many advertising campaigns, such as Bubble Gum V6, Melody, Quiero TV, Farmatint, La Voz de Galicia, Integree and currently she is the image of Lexury, Bodegas Marques of Vizhoja and Bora Bora (signature with which she launched her own bath line).
