Rafael Hugo Fernández Silva was born in Madrid, Spain in May 10th 1977.

His artistic name is Hugo Silva and he is an actor, musician, model and publicist. He is considered one of the Spanish sex-symbol of the moment and started in the acting world studying theatrical arts in “Escuela de Arte Teatral Angel Gutiérrez”, also in “Teatro Cámara de Madrid” and in “RESAD”.

He is also a professional singer and guitar player who was part of a band of heavy music called “Inoderm” which he left to focus in his acting career.

He acted in TV series and productions like ““Al Salir de Clase”, “Karabudjan” (Colombia), “La Princesa de Eboli”, “El Corazón del Océano”, “Los Hombres de Paco” (TV series that gave him a nomination for the “Fotograma de Plata” awards in 2007), was co-star of the TV series “Paco y Veva”, played in theatre for “Las Amistades Peligrosas” y “Atraco a las 3”. He also worked in movies like “Tengo Ganas De Ti”, “El Cuerpo”, “Las Brujas de Zugarramurdi”, “Perros Muertos”, “A 3 Metros Sobre El Cielo”, “En Fuera De Juego”, “Lo Contrario Al Amor”, El Color Del Mal”, “Para La Libertad”, “El Color Del Mal”, “Terca Vida”, “Reinas” y “Ladies’ Night”, among others. His TV debut was in “Crónicas Marcianas” playing his music in a heavy band.

He has done several advertising campaigns and worked in some TV shows.
