Ramón García Hernando was born in Bilbao in November 28th 1961 and he is a presenter of radio and Televisión.
Although his beginnings were in the radio, in 1989 he jumps to the small screen in ETB to present Tal Para Cual and in 1990 he debuts in national television in Antena 3 to present the contest of La Ruleta De La Fortuna.
After this he collaborated in shows like NO TE RIAS QUE ES PEOR, EMPIEZA CON LA PRIMERA (New Years Eve Special) QUÉ APOSTAMOS?, EL GRAND PRIX, LA LLAMADA DE LA SUERTE, TODO EN FAMILIA, SABES MÁS QUE UN NIÑO DE PRIMARIA or RICO AL INSTANTE.
He got his fist Golden TP Award in 1989 for his work in TAL PARA CUAL of ETB. In 2002 he received the Golden TV ANTENA and in 2001 the Golden TP for his professional trajectory.
He also has two TP awards for his show QUE APOSTAMOS? In 1995 and 1997. To this last award he has also been nominated in the category of Best Presenter in editions 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 and 2003. He has collected several awards of different associations of viewers from all over Spain.
During eleven years he has been also the host of the New Years Eve Show in TVE. During that period he has popularized the use of a Spanish cape. In 2007 and 08’ he continued presenting them but this time in Antena 3.
In 2004 he decides to go back to the radio and from September 2006 he presents LA TARDE DE RAMÓN GARCÍA from 4 to 7pm. The show is dedicated entirely to informing. In 2008 and until 2011 he continued under the presentation and direction of the weekend version of PROTAGONISTAS. After this he is recruited by COPE network to present ASI SON LAS MAÑANAS in the disconnection for Madrid.
