Julio José Iglesias Preysler, better known as Julio Iglesias Junior, was born in February 25th, 1973 in Madrid and he is a singer, son of also singer Julio Iglesias and former model Isabel Preysler. He grew up in Miami and studied in Menlo College in Atherton, California. Participated in NBC’s “Out Of The Blue” and worked for the Travel Channel, where he hosted a travel show that took him to Latin America.
He debuted in the show business through the model agency “Ford Models” in Ney York and worked with signatures like Versace, John Bartlett VII, among others.
He participated in international TV shows like Oprah, “El Club De Flow”, “Mira Quien Baila” and appeared in ABC’s show Superstar. Was joined by soccer player “Brandi Chastaine” and won the fourth place; worked in a TV commercial for “Bracha” among other works and presentations.
In his musical facet, he participated and won the TV network Country Music Television (CMT) contest “Gone Country” and was 3rd finalist in the first edition of the Spanish show “Tu Cara Me Suena” (impersonation of famous singers by famous singers). At the same time, he worked in his first albums in Miami “Bajo Mis Ojos” and “Tercera Dimensión”. On December 31st he released his latest album “A Piece Of My Love”.
This coming summer, Julio is getting married with model and girlfriend for seven years, Charisse Verhaert, after many postponements for working reasons.
