Berto Romero (Alberto Romero Tomás) was born in Barcelona, Spain in November 17th 1974. He starts his professional career as a comedian, radio announcer, singer and presenter/host when he first founded “El Cansancio” company which from 1998 has presented three acting plays: “Historias del Cantautor Paródico”, “El Desafío de los Hombres Medianos” and “La Apoteosis Necia” among other works.
He writes a weekly column in the newspaper “Público” besides written books like: “Cero Estrellas (2008), “Me La Metistes” (2009), among others.
In television, Berto has done collaborations in TVE and 8TV and has presented his own shows in TV3 and La Sexta. He became very popular as the nephew of the “boss” in the TV show “Buenafuente” in La Sexta. He has participated in films like “Sótano” by Jon Cortegoso and “Spanish Movie” by Javier Ruiz Caldera.
In New Year’s Eve 2010 and 2011 he presented the end of the year with Ana Morgade in a show called “Cómo Superar el Fin De Año”.
In June 2011 he had the leading character in a video clip from “Border Boys” called “Me Lo Tiro” which became a total success in iTunes with a download record the week after its release and was a trending topic in twitter for two days.
His latest TV work was with his uncle in “Buenas Noches y Buenafuente” (2012).
