Philip David Charles "Phil" Collins LVO (born January 30, 1951 in Chiswick, Middlesex, United Kingdom) is a singer, songwriter, drummer, pianist and actor and one of the most active and most successful rock music.

Collins has led the U.S. Billboard Top 100 as a vocalist on eight occasions between 1984 and 1989, seven solo and one with Genesis.
From 1970 to 1996 was the drummer of British rock group Genesis. After the departure of Peter Gabriel in 1975 became the band's lead singer, with whom he had any time contribution since 2007. On March 7, 2011 was made public its withdrawal from the music world health problems.
