Gema Carrasco is a young woman from Cordoba with a degree in teaching and is currently studying information science.

But so surely her smile is not recognized for her academic record, but for being a finalist of the first edition of "Se Llama Copla”. This contest broke all ratings records in the history of Canal Sur TV and assumed, at the time, the recovery of a genre that was half forgotten.

Thanks to the popularity that she gave in her participation in “Se Llama Copla”, Gema had the opportunity to take her first steps as a television presenter in front of the "Azúcar, Canela y Clavo” and "La Tarde De Se Llama Copla” both programs broadcast on Canal Sur TV. And that led her to participate as guest in this case, in successive editions of "Se Llama Copla”.

But we must talk about the future of moving in time to the past and meet this young Cordoba girl, Gemma, from little has had a special talent for interpretation. The girl was very talented. Her talent has manifested as it has flourished and according to the education and training that she has received all along. "Se Llama Copla” has been a whirlwind of work and learning that has made her take off in other records that are now being explored by this restless artist. Far from settling into a status as an artist who could bring success and hard work, Gema seeking a new way to express herself, far from the corset of the couplet, owes everything to the song, but Gema is much more than that.

From the hand of Jose Manuel Moles (Los Canos, Sergio Alcover, etc…) got to work hard at finding a repertoire that would fit what Gema wanted to sing. After months of hard work formed a repertoire that now has at fingertips, a repertory that forms the cornerstone of a new project in the life of Gema Carrasco.

On this album you can find elegant slow songs where the voice of Gem is the main protagonist, and dance songs, the record certainly riskier for Gema, but she likes. Carracasco, the girl who smiles, sings, dances and enjoys remixing Sorry I'mma lady.
