From the year 1989, our friends from Café Tacvba have delighted us with their incredible lyrics accompanied by a great alternative rock melody. A Mexican band made up of Rubén Isaac Albarrán, better known as “Cosme“, who is the group’s vocalist; Emmanuel “Meme” del Real, who is basically in charge of keyboards and backing vocals, Joselo “Oso” Rangel on guitar, and Enrique “Quique” Rangel on bass.

Throughout their great career, this group has been awarded a Grammy, nine Latin Grammys, two MTV Video Music Awards and four MTV Latinoamérica, which means that they have managed to captivate their audience with their remarkable musical rebelliousness where they like to experiment with different styles ranging from Hip-Hop, Ska, Rock, Metal and folkloric genres typical of the indigenous population of Mexico.

Their songs have been part of films with great relevance such as Amores perros, Y tu mamá también, Batman y Robin, Crónica de un desayuno, Piedras Verdes, Crónicas (OST), Vivir mata (Sashimi (Corte Fino) and Laberinto) and for the short film Hasta los huesos (Calavera Films).

Among their main hits are “Eres“, “Cómo te extraño mi amor“, “Las flores“, “Quiero ver“, “Aprovéchate“, “Las batallas” and “Déjate caer“.
