In its beginnings in 2000, Blas sang with only 8 years won the contest of Teresa Rabal Veo Veo Awards being in the first position of the Region of Murcia.

Two years later (2002) he returned to compete in the Veo Veo Awards of Teresa Rabal and won first place in the regional final, first prize in the national final and was in third place representing Spain.

Later in 2004, he was presented to the program of Televisión Española, presented by Carlos Lozano, Eurojunior, thus remaining a finalist behind the winner María Isabel.

In 2010 he became a member of the Auryn group, where he won the LOS40 Music Awards and the MTV Europe Music Awards.

In 2016, after passing through Auryn, Blas began a new stage in the television program Tu cara me suena of Antena 3. After 15 galas, on February 17, 2017, Blas Cantó became finalist of the season in the first semifinal with the maximum score of the jury and the public, and subsequently winner.

On February 22, 2017, through his Twitter account he announced the release date of his first single, In your bed, for March 3, 2017.

The same day of its premiere In your bed, it won the fifth edition of Tu cara me suena.

On August 25, 2017, he released a new single called Drunk and Irresponsible. Later on, he released his single “Él no soy yo”, a simple one with which he was quite successful, eventually having a gold and platinum record.

On September 14, 2018, Blas Cantó published his album Complicado that in just 1 week of its release reached # 1 on the best selling albums in Spain.
