MÁRIAM GUERRA

The soprano Máriam Guerra from Jerez finishes her studies in Ephemeral Architecture in Jerez Fra. and begins her singing career at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid, where she finishes with the highest grades. She has been awarded in singing competitions such as “III National Lied Competition “Fidela Campiña”, “International Competition “La Brújula del Canto”, “OMEGA Competition” of Florence (Italy) and has been awarded the prizes: “Camerata Sant Cugat de Canto 2017 Award” and “Clarós Foundation Award”.

She has received master classes from great teachers such as Jessica Pratt, Natalie Dessay, Ana Luisa Chova, Ainhoa Garmendia, Roberto Scandiuzzi, Ettore Papadia, Bruno de Simone, Christoph Ritter, Lamara Chkonia, Emelina López, Linus Lerner, Francisco Ortiz, Francesca Roig and the teachers, Daniel Muñoz and Manuel Burgueras, with whom she continues to perfect her skills.

Among the most important recitals in which she has participated, we can highlight: “SIEMENS Christmas Concert” together with the Philharmonic Choir, Orchestra and Ballet, directed by Maestro Pascual Osa, at the National Music Auditorium of Madrid; “Anthology of Zarzuela” in the Alcázar of Jerez de la Frontera and in the Plaza de la Asunción of the same town, the latter broadcast live by Onda Jerez TV. Lyrical Concert at the Mutua Madrileña Auditorium, “Opera, Zarzuela and Songs to dream” at the CASYC Theater in Santander; “Great moments of Opera and Zarzuela” at the MIRA Theater of Pozuelo de Alarcón, (Madrid); “Solidarity Lyrical Concert for Manos Unidas.” at the Ciudad de Alcobendas Auditorium Theater (Madrid); Recital in the Cloister of the Monastery of Sant Cugat del Vallès, (Barcelona), among others.
