Melissa Jimenez

Melissa Jiménez is the daughter of Antonio Jiménez, (son of Spanish emigrants and born in Granada, in 1963) and Luciana Dionisio (Italy). He has a younger sister named Sara. At 2 years of age, he moved to Barcelona, since his father began to work in the world of motorcycles under the command of JJ Cobas.
He grew up in a very small town 60 km from Barcelona and always went to the races with his father. Since I was little I knew I wanted to work in the MotoGP World Championship. He studied Communication Sciences in Barcelona and did internships at Onda Rambla. He spent two years working on both the radio and 25TV, and when he finished his degree he moved to Madrid, where he began to collaborate with MarcaTV. A year and a half later SKY Italia offered to retransmit the bikes with them and went to Milan, commented on some preseason training and worked as press officer for the “Forward Racing” team of Moto2. Until in 2013 Mediaset Spain gave him the opportunity to return to Spain to join his sports editorial.
In 2013, he joined the Mediaset España motorcycle relay team as a paddock commentator replacing Lara Álvarez. Two years later, Jiémenez announced through his Instagram account that he would not be part of the MotoGP team.
In October 2016 she participated as a guest in the fifth season of the Antena 3 music program Tu cara me suena, where she used Nelly Furtado to sing the song I’m like a bird.
