After graduating in journalism, he studied drama at the Escuela de Cristina Rota.
His first appearances on television were with episodic characters in series such as El comisario and Hospital Central de Telecinco or Cuéntame cómo pasó de Televisión española.
In 2006 she was part of the regular cast of the youth series SMS: Sin miedo a soñar by La Sexta, where she played Vicky during the two seasons of the series.
In 2007 she got the role that made her known to the general public. She played teacher Amelia Ugarte during the seven seasons the series was broadcast.
In 2011 she stars in the new series of Antena 3 Bandolera, set in Andalusia in the late nineteenth century.
In 2013 she joins the third and final season of the successful Antena 3 Gran Hotel series. She also joins the new fiction of Antena 3 Velvet along with Cecilia Freire, Javier Rey, Paula Echevarría and Adrián Lastra, where she participates in the four seasons of the series.
In 2014 he released the film Pancho, el perro millonario (Pancho, the Millionaire Dog) directed by Tom Fernández. In addition, she also joined as a regular contributor to the ninth season of the entertainment program El Hormiguero de Antena 3.
A versatile and complete actress, Marta Hazas has always combined her work in film and television with theatre. In 2017 she also participated at the end of the film Toc Toc.
