Juan José Bautista Martín was born in December 15th 1962 in Almeria, Spain.

He is better known as “Juan Y Medio” (name that he adopted by his friend’s mother), he is a comedian and TV presenter. He graduated from Law school in University of Alcala, practiced for a while, graduated from Psychology and finally started working with rock band “Hombres G” and that is how he was asked to debut in TV show “Inocente, Inocente”.

After his debut, he worked in shows like “Vaya Nochecita”, “Aquí No Hay Quien Duerma”, “Fiebre del Domingo Noche”, “Más Madera”, “Vídeos, vídeos”, “Tu gran día”, “Un Siglo de Canciones” and ”El Bus”, “Punto Y Medio”, “El Precio Justo 1 contra 100”, “Diario Y Medio”, “Paranoia Semanal” and currently “Menuda Noche”.

He has played in theatres with Works like “Triple Salto Mortal” and monologues like “El Club de La Comedia”. Besides he has presented and hosted many galas and award ceremonies. As an actor, he has participated in movies like “El Niño Invisible”, “Locos Por El Cine”, “Suspiros de España y Portugal”, “El día de la bestia”, “Operación Gónada”, “Trileros”, “Jaa me maten” and “Un rey en La Habana” or the internet show where he did dan appearence: “Malviviendo”.

He received the award as Best Communicator of Entertainment Shows in 2005 for the ATV awards. He has also done some advertising campaigns like for “Promotora Inmobiliaria Almeriense”, “OBRASCAMPO” in a national campaign with newspaper and TV ads.
