Emilia Clarke is a famous British actress, known mainly for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the acclaimed HBO series “Game of Thrones.”

Emilia Clarke developed an interest in acting at a young age, and after graduating from high school she attended the renowned Drama Centre London. After several small roles on television, Clarke’s big break came in 2011 when she landed the role of Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones. Since then she has starred on Broadway and has been cast in films such as Solo: A Star Wars Story.

In 2016 she played Louisa “Lou” Clark in the movie “Me Before You” and later participated in “Voice from the Stone” in the role of Verena, released in 2017. In November 2016, she was confirmed to play Qi’Ra in the Star Wars spin-off “Han Solo: A Star Wars Story”, alongside actors Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover.

In November 2019, she starred in Last Christmas, directed by Paul Feig.
Her role in “Game of Thrones” made her a winner at the Scream Awards, Gracie Awards for Best Rising Actress, and Empire Awards, shared with the cast of the series.
