BORIS IZAGUIRRE
Boris Rodolfo Izaguirre Lobo was born in Caracas in September 29th 1965.
TV show Host, novelist, columnist and scripwriter, who besides the Venezuelan nacionality has the Spanish one. His career in the comunication media started at age 16 in caracas when he wrote the social content column “Animal de Frivolidades” and that was the beginning of his professional education, because as he says, he was formed while working, he never went to college.
He has collaborated with several newspaper media like “El País” where he writes a weekly column in its Saturday magazine, named “La Paradoja Y El Estilo”, besides this he writes for other magazines such as “Fotogramas” (film magazine) and “Vanity Fair” Spain. He also writes columns for magazines like “Zero” and “Marie Claire”. He has a radio show called “La Ventana”.
Izaguirre has written scripts for soup operas like “Rubí Rebelde”, “La Dama De Rosa”, “EL Vuelo De Los avestruces”, “Azul Petróleo” and “Villa Diamante” which was nominated for “Planeta Awards” in 2007. He has also colaborated in the scripts of “Inocente, Inocente” and “El súper”, in addition to his participations in TV shows like “Crónicas Marcianas”, “Channel Nº 4” and several other shows in TV Network “Telecinco” where he currently collaborates in several shows.
Boris has been part of the jury of “¡Mira quién baila!” in 2008 and 2010, has hosted beauty pageants like “Miss Venezuela” where he has been seen for a massive audience composed by latin america and United States. He has also presented the “Gala Drag Queen of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria” (2009).
