Marc Gasol Sáez (Barcelona, January 29, 1985) is a Spanish basketball player, who plays in the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA. It occupies the pivot position.

He has been an absolute international with the Spanish national team since 2006 and with it he has been proclaimed world champion in 2006, Olympic runner-up in Beijing 2008 and London 2012 and twice European champion in 2009 and 2011. He has also been European runner-up in 2007 and in the last European of 2013 got the Bronze medal.

In 2013 he was chosen as the best defender of the NBA in that season, in addition to appearing in the second best defensive team and in the second best quintet of the league.

In the 2014-2015 season Marc Gasol broke a record with his brother Pau Gasol, being the first brothers to be holders in an all-star.
