Fernando Belasteguín, known as “Bela”, is an Argentine professional padel player who is currently ranked No. 4 in the WPT (World Padel Tour) ranking. His position on the paddle court is on the reverse, he is a right-handed player and his balloon is considered, by himself, as his best shot.

He was the No. 1 in the youngest world in history with 22 years of age. Along with Juan Martin Diaz, were the only couple in history to spend 1 year and 9 months undefeated, winning 22 consecutive tournaments (September 2005 to May 2007), besides being the only couple in history to be 13 years as No 1 of the world and winning 170 tournaments.

He is the only player in the history of the Argentine paddle to get 10 Silver Olympics. In his track record stand out five Paddle World Championships won in the edition of 2002, 2004, 2006, 2014 and 2016. Currently is the only player in history with more permanence in the No. 1 position in the WPT world ranking.
