ANDRÉS INIESTA

Andrés Iniesta Luján (Fuentealbilla, Albacete, Spain, May 11, 1984) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a midfielder in the Football Club Barcelona of the First Division of Spain, team of which he is captain.
His training as a footballer began in the lower categories of Albacete Balompié, where he entered with eight years. At twelve he signed for the F.C. Barcelona after his outstanding performance in a national youth tournament, moving his residence to La Masía. He debuted with the first Catalan team in the First Division during the 2002/03 season, having since conquered 30 titles as Barça. He has a life contract and a termination clause of 200 million euros.
As a Spanish international, Andrés Iniesta has gone through the lower categories of the national team, proclaiming himself European U-16 champion in 2001 and U-19 in 2002 and youth world sub-champion in 2003. He has been an absolute international with the Spanish national team since 2006, with the one that has been proclaimed bicampeón of Europe in 2008 and 2012, and champion of the world in 2010, writing down the famous goal of the victory before the Dutch in the minute 116 of the final.
At the individual level, he has been nominated for the Golden Ball continuously between 2009 and 2016, resulting in a second time (2010), a third (2012) and twice fourth (2009 and 2011), and has been included in the XI World Championship for nine years. FIFA / FIFPro and six in the UEFA Year Team. In 2012, he was the first footballer to be named in the same year «Best Eurocopa Player» and «Best UEFA Player in Europe».
