Marc Márquez Alentà (Cervera, Lérida, February 17, 1993) is a Spanish motorcycling driver who currently runs in MotoGP.1 He has won six Motorcycling World Championship titles in three categories: 125cc (2010), Moto2 (2012) ) and four-time world champion in MotoGP (2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017) .2 He is currently a Repsol Honda team rider, 3 where he has accumulated 35 victories and 62 podiums in 89 races.

In his first season in the top category he took the World Motorcycle Championship (in 2013), becoming the youngest driver to win a MotoGP championship, surpassing the record of Freddie Spencer. He is also the youngest driver in history to be a two-time champion, three times champion and four-time champion in the premier class of motorcycling.

He has a brother three years younger, Álex Márquez (born in 1996), who currently runs in the Moto2 category and has obtained a Motorcycle World Championship title. Marc and Álex are the only brothers who have achieved a Motorcycling World Championship, and also in the same season (2014), along with having been the first brothers to win a Grand Prix on the same day (in 2014 in the Gran Catalonia Motorcycling Prize, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Cataluña, Montmeló, Spain) and those who have most times coincided on the podium of a Grand Prix.
