EL GRAN WYOMING
José Miguel Monzón Navarro was born in Madrid in May 15th 1955.
He is a doctor but also comedian, actor, director, writer, musician and TV Host. He is publicly known as “El Gran Wyoming”.
He abandoned his profession as a doctor to start working in the entertainment business, music and comedy playing in his band “Paracelso”. Right there and then his show business career started, participating in TV shows like “Silencio Se Juega” (1981), “La Noche Se Mueve” (1992) and “EL Peor Programa de la Semana” (1993).
Later on he starts working in TV shows like the Spanish version of the argentinian show “Caiga Quien Caiga”, reaching a major success everywhere.”La Azotea De Wyoming” was another of his TV shows, besides “El Severo Me Duele”, “EL Intermedio”, among others. He wrote a column in the public newspaper of the “MediaPro” group, named “Asuntos & Cuestiones”, in which he criticized several subjects, political and present. He stopped collaborating for “Público” due to the cessation of the media for economical reasons.
Besides the works mentioned, he collaborated in “Más Se Perdió En Cuba” de Intereconomía, “La mujer de tu vida: La mujer fría”, “Hermanos de leche”, “Vivancos 3, “Vientos De Agua”, “Vaya Semanita”, “Esto es lo que hay”, “En la cuerda floja”, “El club de la comedia”, “La Azotea de Wyoming”, “Buenafuente”.
